Yoga therapy or therapeutic yoga is a yoga practice that has existed since ancient times but has however come into the limelight now more than ever. It’s modern term “Yoga therapy” was coined by Swami Kuvalyananda (1920s). As the name suggests, this yoga is done on a 1 to 1 basis by the instructor and the pupil. The word therapy, as suggested, makes this yoga practice in a way in which it involves training your mind along with your body too, just as we do in therapy.

This yoga aims at introducing the client to various asanas that will tackle its issue in a multifaceted way. This will not only help in the prevention of certain issues but also, it’s healing and / or management to a certain extent.
